The holidays are inundated with festive, sometimes seemingly pointless, traditions. We at Beach Butlerz love the holidays, and have provided our list of favorite, shamelessly wonderful, and at times tacky, holiday traditions.

 

1) Watching Elf or any other Christmas movie every week for the entire month of December. If you can’t do it now, when can you?

 

2) Playing “All I Want for Christmas is You” by Mariah Carey, or any other equally fabulous, holiday song… on repeat. The music is a part of the season, plus she ROCKS!

 

3) Using the holidays as an excuse to bake excessively, and subsequently eat all the goodies. Calories don’t count in December (right?).

 

4) Driving around looking at Christmas lights, made even better when accompanied by hot chocolate or hot apple cider. Mmmmmm.

 

5) Wearing and enjoying holiday sweaters (cozy!), matching pajamas, or any other festive ensemble. If you ever have an excuse to “dress the part”, it’s now!
