WOW what a day today was! I thought for sure nothing would be good when I went to leave my apartment and 3 of my truck's tires were slashed! Somebody had walked all down my street slashing everybody's tires. Who does that?!? So needless to say my day did not start off too well.

Luckily I was still able to make it out to Avila for our big grand opening party. Everything seemed to align for us. Once everything was set up we and we hammered out some minor details with the neighbors everything went just beautifully. We got to see a lot of people out on the beach and give them a preview of what Beach Butlerz is all about and it was nice to see everyone's smiling faces and get so much positive feedback from the community. Avila Beach Grocery hooked us up with some great food for everybody and Cake Cathedral and Amy Bakes Cupcakes came in with some delicious and beautiful sweets. M.J., Aaron and I probably played the most hotly contested game of bocce ball in the history of bocce ball. The band played some nice mellow Caribbean music for us to enjoy all day long. That singer was especially mellow; I think he might have had a little bit of help with that though. I couldn't have asked for a better way to forget about this morning than enjoying such a nice day with my friends and coworkers. I hope tomorrow can be anywhere near as nice as today was and I hope to see some more of the faces we saw today out at Avila with us again.
