Hey guys!

I'm at school in Vancouver, BC and it's a snowy winter day!  We're in exam lockdown- I just finished a chemistry final and in a few hours I'll take my indigenous history final, but all I can think of is my flight home back to sunny CA in less than a week!  My roommate and I are even heading over to a California Mexican restaurant tonight to get a little taste of home!

I always forget how lucky I am to live in the most beautiful place in the world... the Central Coast was recently determined to be the happiest place in North America!  On the agenda when I get home is an amazing bonfire on the Avila dog beach. 

Remember, just because it's winter doesn't mean you can't enjoy the beach!  According to my go-to weather site, it's currently 75 degrees at my house in Cal right now! 

Can't wait for this summer, you all better come out to the beach!

It's a beautiful, albeit windy, day at Avila Beach!  Working for Beach Butlerz is the greatest summer job a college student could hope for.   Every weekend I look forward to hanging out with my fellow butlers and meeting all the patrons of Avila Beach, new and old.  The Valley people are representing in full force this weekend, cooling off from the 100+ degrees that are posting in Central California.  Currently Jeff and I are listening to Bob Marley and chilling out at the home base kiosk, enjoying cupcakes from a little girl who celebrated her birthday on Avila!  Come down and say hello or give us a shout-out and friend us on Facebook!  Until next weekend!
